Karen Dempsey - Faculty Lead and Tutor
Karen Dempsey, is the lead tutor for the TAC Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
Karen’s background is in writing, with a career spanning journalism, business publishing, editorial management, and content marketing. Currently working towards a professional doctorate, she is researching stories of the process of transformation during therapists’ journey towards qualification.
As a tutor, Karen’s intention is to facilitate growth and insight through experiential and transformative learning. She is passionate about supporting students to become the best practitioners they can be. Her teaching style is interactive and relational – and she is known to share a story or two.
Karen is an extraordinary and amazing tutor and therapist. She explained the modules and theories very well and clearly.
