Introduction to Counselling

The TAC Training School’s brand-new Introduction to Counselling provides an entry-level opportunity for you to learn and practise the basics of the counselling profession.

Is the Introduction to Counselling right for me?

The 20-hour course is designed for anyone who is considering taking the first step in training towards working in the helping professions.

It will help you improve your communication skills, develop your self-awareness and improve your interactions with others.

You will understand and develop a variety of essential counselling skills including: active listening, summarising, and nonverbal communication.

Please note that our short courses sell-out quickly, so early booking is advisable.

Course Details

The Introduction to Counselling runs online, over 4 Saturdays. The course comprises 20 total guided learning hours (tutor time), with each day running from 10:00-16:00.

The course fee is normally £275 but is currently £250 as we are running an Early Bird booking offer (runs until end of April 2021).
