Lee White is a qualified counsellor, who has an Integrative counselling degree. He has experience of working with individuals presenting a wide range of issues such as, trauma, bereavment, loss, depression, anxiety, feelings of isolation and relationship issues.
Lee uses an integrative approach, combining Person-centred, Existential and Psychodynamic theory to create a safe, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment which allows the client to work through and explore issues, whilst feeling supported and held. He believes in working in a relational way and in the healing power of the relationship, which can allow the client to work through past trauma as well as staying in the hear-and-now, allowing the client to work towards growth and therapeutic change.
Lee believes that each client has there own unique way of relating to the world, and that it is important to work with the client’s own personal process. By doing this he believes it allows the therapeutic space to meet the needs of the client, as an individual.
