Alena Todorov helps her clients to identify negative behaviours and thoughts and develop new, more positive ways to deal with stress, gain more confidence and self-esteem, and create a deeper connection with themselves and others. Alena believes that empathy and an open therapeutic relationship sit at the centre of the healing process. She has a unique integrative and person-centred approach, combining a variety of methods and techniques, such as transactional analysis – helping her clients to become more aware of the present moment, so they can make a more informed decision about their behaviour and reactions and be fully connected with themselves and others – and transformational coaching – supporting her clients to unlock their full potential and empowering them to live the life they always desired.
Alena’s professional background is in Organisational Psychology, training, adult online learning, neurodiversity, coaching and mentoring. She integrates her knowledge and experience into her sessions. She is experienced in offering online short and long-term support. Alena incorporates psychoeducation in her work, supporting her clients to identify and develop specific techniques and strategies that they can use outside the sessions.
Alena is a trainee transactional analyst in Counselling and psychotherapy, registered with the UKATA. She holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology and is currently working towards her Certificate in Transactional Analysis. Alena adheres to the UKATA and UKCP’s Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
