Alice Weller believes that each client is unique and important. She provides a safe and supportive space for all her clients to explore their issues without being judged. Together they will identify ways to ease pain and suffering and work towards a more fulfilling and happy life. Alice works from an integrative approach, using different methods of working designed for each client’s specific needs. These approaches include, a humanistic person-centred approach, psychoanalytical approach, and CTB. Alice strongly believes that through counselling individuals can lead a happy and meaningful life.
Alice has a background in sales and recruitment. She understands the expectations individuals put on themselves to achieve and the struggles of daily life. When we live in highly stressful work or home life environments, individuals can lose themselves and need help identifying new and healthy coping strategies. Alice helps individuals transition into a happier emotional state through transformation coaching. Alice also has a degree in psychology and worked in social care placements, including in-house addiction treatment centres, a segregated school for child offenders, and dementia care. She specialised in addiction, trauma, life transitions, and has a special interest in working with anger.
Alice is an integrative trainee counsellor working towards an advanced diploma in integrative counselling, with the desire to continue onto a doctorate. She is in the process of gaining her BACP membership, which is CPCAB certified, and works within The Awareness Centre’s low-cost counselling service in Clapham, she also sees clients who need counselling in HMP Downfield through Choice4Change.
