  • Bullying

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Family Issues

Amber uses an integrative approach. She draws on her psychodynamic and relational approaches to connect with her clients and make them feel seen and heard. She provides an empathetic, safe and non-judgemental space where clients can talk openly and freely about any issues they have, no matter how small or big they feel. She will look at past conflicts and help clients to see how they are affecting the client’s present life. She empowers clients to make changes in their life when they feel stuck. Amber has experience working with clients that have anxiety, depression, family issues and bullying. She has experienced clients walking away happier and more comfortable with themselves and their lives.

Amber previously worked as a patisserie chef in a hotel making desserts and afternoon teas. During her time as a chef, she experienced a variety of different people from various backgrounds. She understands the pressure people and others put on themselves to perform. She decided she didn’t want to be working in the background anymore and wanted to do something that could involve working with people. She has always aspired to be a counsellor and took the leap of faith when the time was right. In her spare time, Amber enjoys doing judo, cooking, reading and windsurfing.

Amber is a member of the BACP. She is currently working towards a FdSc Counselling degree with the outlook to continue deepening her qualification by doing a BSc degree in Counselling.  She is currently on placement with TAC at NHS Wandsworth.
