Amy Launder is a BACP registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor, having graduated in 2017 with a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling. Amy also has a BSc in Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling.
Amy works with NHS and private clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, abuse, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, and much more. She works to create a safe and comfortable environment in which the client and counsellor can explore and work through whatever the client is bringing in a collaborative manner.
Amy was trained in an intersubjective manner meaning that she focuses on the relationship between herself and the client in order to help the client to remove barriers that are standing in their path. She also uses an integrative approach, tailoring her therapy to the client or issue at hand.
In the past, Amy has worked therapeutically with primary school children, and non-therapeutically with adults with learning disabilities.
