Anne-Marie Scott is currently studying diploma in integrative counselling and is registered with the BACP. Using the integrative approach, Anne-Marie will be looking at what method within the integrative modality would best suit each individual client’s needs. She works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service with clients at a GP surgery in Lambeth.
Anne-Marie’s intention is to allow the client to have capacity to feel supported in an empathic, congruent environment. In order for the client to look into themselves on a much deeper level, to establish valuable connections that needs to be made whether it being from their past and how it is affecting their present, or indeed how their present circumstances could be influencing their potential future. Her specialisms are family and relationships, alongside stress and self esteem issues.
Originally coming from a legal background, moving onto working as a customer services manager, and now currently a counselling administrator. Anne-Marie, has had extensive experience with working and serving people in both the private and public sector. Dealing and managing disputes with both customers and colleagues alike. She also has undertaken a voluntary role as an outreach worker in her local community, helping families deal with anxiety to cases of homelessness. She understand the and stress that can cause, and helps people to manage it better.
