Anoushka Beazley is an acutely empathic and intuitive psychotherapist offering a confidential space to talk and be heard. Anoushka feels that sometimes the simple acts of talking and listening are what is missed in today’s society. Anoushka uses a transactional analysis approach combined with an existential ethos, which essentially means trying to understand how we relate to ourselves and each other better within the world in which we live. Anoushka believes with better understanding we are able to live our life the best way we can in a way that makes sense to us and that every client is unique and individual. She believes the therapeutic work evolves from what the client brings to the session and from the unconscious processes which reveal themselves.
Anoushka’s background is in the arts. She has a BA (Hons) in Film, a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting and an MA in Creative Writing. Anoushka has always been aware that the arts was primarily a form of therapy; a way to express oneself, to heal from emotional pain as well as to understand oneself better. Her way of working allows her to identify the pain in others as well the blockages leading to stress, anxiety and depression. She has a deep commitment to discovering the authentic self, to personal growth and the challenges that come from the inevitability of life from which this growth stems.
Anoushka is a trainee Transactional Analysis psychotherapist working with short-term NHS patients in a GP surgery in Lambeth and within The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Clapham. She is also an outreach worker working with a charity helping women who are or have been victims of violence and abuse. Anoushka is currently completing an MSc in Transactional Analysis.
