As a mental health counsellor, Beverley’s areas of expertise include a sound understanding of depression, self-esteem, anxiety and stress. If her clients feels that they are struggling with life’s load, Beverley offers a non-judgmental approach and empathic understanding; enabling her clients to explore their issues in accordance with their individual needs. She draws on an integrative model, which enables her to use the benefits of self-psychology, person-centred and psychodynamic theoretical approaches. These models provide a useful way to help clients manage problems, develop self-awareness, and achieve insight into present problems.

With a professional and academic background, Beverley has gained considerable knowledge in working with adult clients who experience common mental health conditions.
