Bonny Allyson – Lead Foundation Tutor/ Diploma Tutor
Bonny Allyson is a lead tutor for the Foundation Certificate in Counselling. She is also a tutor for the Diploma in Integrative Counselling, delivering the Suicide and Risk Assessment and Difference and Diversity workshops, and the Diploma in Clinical Supervision. She has considerable teaching experience and has worked extensively within the charity sector, with schools and councils, the prison service as a therapist and clinical supervisor, as well as working in private practice.
Bonny’s training qualifications include a Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate in Further Education and Teaching, as well as a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
Bonny has worked in various roles at The Awareness Centre, including Counselling Manager and Clinical Supervisor. She also led our risk training, supporting trainee therapists on our counselling and psychotherapy placements within TAC’s NHS and Low-Cost placements.
Bonny is amazing. I would happily do the foundation course all over again just to have the opportunity to continue to learn from her. She inspires me to one day, hopefully become an amazing therapist myself. She ignites the passion I have for this profession within me when she shares her own experiences and how much she loves what she does. We can all feel the love and care emanating from her in the room and she really holds the space so incredibly well.
