Brad McCaw provides an open and supportive space where the client is able to explore their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. He believes the therapeutic space allows for those feelings and thoughts to come into the room to be discussed and understood within the therapeutic relationship. The process over time allows the client to develop different perspectives. Through the exploration, clients are able to realise their ability to handle the feelings and realise their potential. Brad has an integrative approach which focuses on the client as a whole person including mind, body and spirit and he uses several ways of working to help people focus on the relationship they are having with themselves and others. His approach is tailored to the individual.
Brad has experience working in the entertainment and consulting industries. He has worked internationally for several years and therefore has an understanding on how cultural aspects play into personal development. Brad understands how daily life can impact people on a personal level which has the potential to both support or hinder themselves. His background enables him to work with people on finding away to handle issues and bring balance to their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. His experience is in addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, sexuality and relationships.
Brad is an integrative psychotherapist and is registered with the UKCP. Brad is currently working towards an MSc in integrative psychotherapy. He works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Wandsworth.
