Celestia Spong has over a decade worth of knowledge, education, training and experience in the areas of emotional health, self development, psychotherapy and spirituality, covering various modalities both Western and Eastern. She has an empathetic, relational approach that Is integrative so tailored around the needs of each client. Staying open to working with her clients in the most supportive mode for them at that time is an important factor in her work. Celestia specialises in childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, self esteem, and has a particular passion for working with those wishing to/have started to embark on a self development/authentic living journey.

Celestia’s own personal journey through childhood, marriage and motherhood kickstarted her desire to work in the emotional/mental health space, with a focus on healing trauma, living authentically, deepening relationships and breaking free of unhealthy behaviour patterns and belief systems. Celestia is deeply passionate about relationships and connections as she recognizes that they are the cornerstone to life and wellness. Celestia draws on the following therapeutic approaches: Acceptance & Commitment therapy ( ACT), Compassion Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Humanistic person-centred approaches, Existential psychotherapy, Gestalt psychotherapy, mindfulness and somatic therapies.

Celestia is a counsellor and psychotherapist working in private practice in Marylebone, London. She has a diploma in integrative counselling, and is registered with the BACP. Her other qualifications include a post graduate certificate in gestalt psychotherapy, bachelors degree in psychology, Certificate in Acceptance and commitment therapy and currently completing Mindfulness based cognitive therapy training at oxford universities mindfulness centre.
