Cristina Onuta
Cristina Onuta, is a compassionate therapist committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and personal growth. With a deep understanding of various therapeutic approaches, she tailors her counselling sessions to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes in creating a safe and non- judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. She is committed to ongoing self -reflection, supervision and continuing education to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge. Cristina has respect for diversity and cultural sensitivity to work effectively with clients from various backgrounds and stives to create and inclusive and affirming space for clients to explore their experiences and concerns. She has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients.
With a background as a retail manager for twenty-five years and a degree in Psychosocial Studies, Cristina has the experience and ability to adapt to new situations and be flexible in her approach. She believes effective communication is key in any role and she works to help clients navigate emotional and psychological challenges. Cristina is interested in helping clients understand themselves better, fostering self – awareness, personal growth and self-discovery and finds fulfilment in supporting clients on their journey of self -exploration and transformation.
She is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing seeking help for mental health challenges. She is currently working towards her Diploma in Integrative Therapy. Cristina is a trainee member of BACP and currently works in the Awareness Centres NHS Lambeth Service.
