Daniel has an integrative approach to counselling. He supports clients in a personalised manner, tailored to their individual needs. With a listening non-judgemental ear, Daniel provides a safe space in which clients can explore their current thoughts, feelings and come to an understanding on how their past can influence experiences. He uses a variety of techniques to support his clients through their transition to rediscovering their true self.
Daniel is a warm and empathic counsellor who takes care to establish a warm and trusting relationship with clients from the first session. Daniel believes everyone’s experience is unique and important. Daniel works in an integrative manner, meaning that he blends various approaches, being led by the client’s current needs, while exploring the client’s past experiences. Daniel, wishes to provide his clients with a sense of being and aims to support the client so they will become able to explore their difficult feelings and bring an understanding to them.
With a background of working as a people manager for many years, Daniel has gained extensive experience working directly with people from a range of different cultures and backgrounds. This extensive and varied working life means Daniel has a range of experience to draw upon; such as the modern pressures of the workplace, the work-life balance of children versus career, bereavement and loss, redundancy and financial problems. He has a keen interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and stress in their personal and professional lives. Daniel is an integrative counsellor working towards his Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. He is a member of the BACP and is currently working at The Awareness Centre NHS Wandsworth service.
