Emel Saban is a counsellor and psychotherapist who has worked in a variety of mental health settings, such as the NHS, bereavement services, children and adolescents’ mental health and a residential addiction rehabilitation centre. Emel now specialises in addictions, anxiety, depression, bereavement and relationships.
With Emel, you will find a comfortable, safe and confidential space, where you can discuss what it is that has brought you to therapy. You can vocalise things that you might not be able to do so, anywhere else. You will be supported throughout the therapeutic journey, processing any difficulties, anxieties and challenges that you might be experiencing. Emel provides professional but relational support, tailored to your needs.
Emel’s own mixed cultural background has led her to have a strong interest in multicultural counselling, and a curiosity into how our cultures can shape and influence our daily lives. She is a frequently practices mindfulness and strength training, helping her remain balanced, clear and focused.
Emel is a counsellor and psychotherapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She currently works with individuals in her private practice, based in South West London, as well as seeing clients online. Online work can be suitable for those that want a very early session, can fit it in on a lunch break or even on the weekends.
