Emma Kaczmarek is a warm, empathic counsellor who provides a safe and supportive space where clients can open up without fear of judgement. She appreciates that seeking support via counselling is a big step for many people and aims to create a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can explore difficult and painful thoughts and feelings. Emma believes that counselling can help clients to better understand themselves and work towards their goals, in their personal and professional lives.
Emma uses an integrative approach to counselling, which means she draws on several ways of working to help each client according to their needs. She understands that each person is unique, with their own strengths and challenges, and empowers clients to find ways to manage complicated issues. Emma works alongside her clients, helping them to identify unhelpful patterns in their thoughts and behaviours and to make positive changes. With a background in the public sector, Emma has experience in workplace issues, such as stress management, personal resilience and working effectively with others, in a range of challenging environments including crisis response.
Emma is an integrative counsellor and is currently working towards an advanced diploma in therapeutic counselling. She is registered with the BACP and sees NHS patients for counselling at a GP surgery in Wandsworth.
