Jack Schneider is an experienced and fully accredited psychotherapist and counsellor who provides a safe, confidential and supportive space for clients to think about and work through issues. His extensive training enables him to draw on many different approaches to psychotherapy and counselling and provide therapy which is individually tailored to match each client’s individual needs, preferences and goals. His experience includes working with a diverse range of clients and client issues from a range of cultural and social backgrounds in the NHS, counselling clinics and private practice. He embraces diversity and difference and provides a respectful and non-judgemental space for one and all.
Jack is a born and bred Londoner but his background includes travelling around the world across 4 continents for 10 years. He loves visiting other countries and learning about other cultures. During this time, he was also a teacher of English to international students and he continues to be involved in adult education as a Cambridge University accredited Tutor, training teachers on a part-time basis on CELTA and DELTA courses.
Jack trained as a counsellor at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation which is a highly respected, BACP accredited training institute in central London. He also trained with Trailblazers as a counsellor where he provided counselling and mentoring to young people in prison at a Young Offenders Institution. He holds a Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton and is registered with UKCP, BPC and FPC. Jack sees NHS patients with The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Wandsworth.
