Janette Ennis provides a safe, warm and honest, non-judgemental space where her clients can feel comfortable to open up and share their deepest thoughts and feelings. She understands the importance of developing and building a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients.
Janette adopts an integrative approach, informed by person-centred and psychodynamic theories. She provides her clients will the opportunity to explore past and present events, and works alongside her clients to recognise their full potential for change and growth. She understands that everybody is unique and therefore she adapts her approach according to her client needs; ensuring each client is always treated as an exceptional individual.
Janette comes from a social care background and has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families for over 20 years. She pulls upon a wealth of diverse experiences to help people of all ages address an array of difficulties and struggles within their lives. Janette has supported people who have experienced mental health, trauma, sexual abuse, developmental trauma; and looked after children or adults who have been in the cares system.
Janette is currently working towards a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and she is a registered member of BACP. She works within The Awareness Centre and sees NHS patients for counselling in Sutton.
