Jasmin Han offers a safe and non-judgemental space where clients are supported in exploring the challenges that are bringing them to counselling at apace that is comfortable for them. She uses an integrative approach with her clients, drawing from person-centred, attachment-based and narrative perspectives. She believes that each person brings with them a different experience and understanding of the world, thus she tailors her therapeutic conversations to address the clients’ individual needs and goals for their lives in a way that is meaningful for them.
In her work with couples or families, Jasmin considers the relationship as the client and thus fosters a safe and impartial space wherein each member is supported in sharing their concerns and in learning to hear one another in new ways. She explores patterns of interaction in the relationship and ways in which the pair have become stuck, addressing each of their underlying feelings and needs. She believes that by sharing their needs and feelings with each other in a safe and supportive environment, a deeper bond can be formed as a result of feeling heard and learning to be responsive to one another’s needs.
Jasmin has worked with a range of clients from all walks of life varying from age 3 to 80 years old. She currently works as a university counsellor and has a special interest in working with anxiety, trauma and relationship difficulties.
Jasmin is a family, couple and systemic therapist working in private practice in London Bridge. She has a Master of Science in Counselling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and member of AFT.
