Jeremy O’Sullivan is a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). He has a Diploma in Practitioner Counselling from City Lit in London and works with individual adults. Jeremy offers a supportive, non-judgemental space to facilitate self-exploration.
As a Person-Centred counsellor, Jeremy works with empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness as the basis of the therapy – these simple elements can be very powerful in the counselling relationship and support loving, honest and kind self-exploration. The Person-Centred approach holds that each individual person is an expert on themselves with innate resources to deal with life, and these can be tapped into by providing supportive conditions for a person to grow and develop. These conditions can be provided in Person-Centred therapy through the therapeutic relationship. If you would like to talk with Jeremy about things that are going on for you he would be happy to help.
Born in Ireland, Jeremy grew up in County Cork in a farming community by the Atlantic Ocean and is the youngest of 7 children. He has lived in France, the USA, and now lives in the UK. In the past Jeremy has worked in the hospitality industry, construction industry, and has worked with and studied horses. He currently works in the pharmaceutical industry as a clinical project manager in addition to working as a counsellor.
