Jessica Warner offers her clients empathy and a non-judgemental space to explore issues and become increasingly familiar with their patterns of behaviour. She believes that through increased self-awareness and support, clients are enabled to process old wounds and find new ways of being. She believes that everyone with the right support can find more fulfilling ways to live and reach their true potential. Jessica works relationally with her clients to facilitate their deepening awareness and draws on her experience and knowledge of the person centred, Gestalt and TA methods.
Jessica’s background is in further and higher education support services, which provided her with the opportunity to work with a diverse student body of all ages and backgrounds and she understands how significant context and different experiences can be to individuals. Jessica also taught yoga and meditation which she uses to view clients holistically and understands how unhelpful it can be to live with parts of ourselves cut off; she supports clients to live more openly and with less judgement around those alienated parts. Jessica has experience working with stress, anxiety, depression and life transitions.
Jessica is a humanistic counsellor. She works for The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service based in Clapham and also provides NHS patients with counselling at a GP surgery in Kingston. She previously worked at a low cost counselling at a centre in Ealing. Jessica is registered with the BACP and is currently in training to complete a BSc in humanistic counselling.
