Kate is an integrative trainee counsellor, using the psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. She offers a safe and non-judgmental space to talk, and provides empathy to her clients, enabling them to explore their thoughts and feelings.  She will look at past conflicts and help clients to see how they are affecting the client’s present life.  Believing that each person is a unique individual she empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives.

With a background as a TV producer within the advertising industry, and more recently as a hospital volunteer, Kate is interested in helping with workplace issues has an understanding of the pressures that come with life in a busy corporate environment.  She works with clients to find healthier ways of coping; giving her clients the support they are looking for in order to reach their goals.  She understands the pressures people can put on themselves, which can lead to unhelpful or damaging coping strategies, and works to identify healthier ways of managing emotions, stress and low self-esteem.

Kate is a trainee integrative counsellor and is registered as a student member of BACP.  She is currently studying towards a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.  Kate is an Integrative counsellor, working within The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Lambeth.
