Kayleigh Brooker provides a comforting and safe space to talk through issues and emotions that the client may be feeling or going through. She believes that therapy can help clients to develop an understanding of their challenging feelings and relationships. However, she also believes that it can help clients to create a deeper understanding of themselves and create a greater understanding of their potential and self-worth. Kayleigh focuses on humanistic styles of therapy and has an integrative approach, drawing on methodologies and techniques from a range of therapy styles, depending on the needs of the client. She uses person-centred therapy to help the client develop a strong sense of identity and Gestalt to build an awareness of the here and now.
With a background as a Drama Teacher, Kayleigh has an interest in creative careers and conflict resolution. She understands the pressures of a demanding high pressured workplace, and how important it is to develop healthy and sustainable coping strategies throughout these times of stress. She also understands issues surrounding sexuality, gender and relationships, therefore, has an open and non-judgemental attitude towards sex and relationships.
