Kerri Melbourne offers a warm, safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment for individuals to be able to be heard. Kerri works within a therapeutic approach using various techniques such as person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT to tailor and suit the individual. Kerri can help you understand your thoughts and feelings and support you with addressing issues through difficult times. Kerri will help her clients become more self-aware, so they can be able to feel confident and live a fuller life. Kerri will help identify behaviours and patterns in relationships so that her clients will be able to recognise their self-worth.
With a background of fine art, she finds art and meditation therapeutic. Kerri can identify with anxiety, depression, domestic abuse and health problems, also she understands how relationships effects lives. Through these experiences that she has been through herself she can identify ways to manage these issues. She has helped Sutton Women’s centre and has helped on the Freedom Programme supporting victims of Domestic Abuse. She is very determined to help people through difficult times; she was previously a consort for the Mayor of Sutton raising money for two charities; Sutton Women’s centre and Sutton carers and young carers centre.
Kerri is a therapeutic counsellor; she is working on a diploma in therapeutic counselling and is a member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Kerri has completed a CPD in How to do counselling online: a coronavirus primer. She works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Counselling Service in Sutton.
