Kevin Hanley provides a safe, empathic and open space to express thoughts and feelings that clients are finding difficult. He has a deep belief that the ability to find our way through difficulties and grow is within us all, and that one of the best places to help this process is within the counselling relationship. Kevin aims to provide a trusting and non-judgemental space so you can try and make sense of what is going on in your world, and try to find a way through.

Life can be difficult, whether it be due to job loss, bereavement, stress, depression or anything else, and Kevin aims at giving you the time to be really heard. Kevin has chosen to be an integrative counsellor because he feels that each client will need help that is unique to their situation; the integrative approach allows the counselling process to develop in the direction that each client really needs.

Kevin has worked in the media for twenty years and understands the pressures of fast-paced work environments and the impact they can have on our work-life balance.

His aim is to provide space for people to consider areas of their life that are currently causing stress, and to support the development of coping strategies to enhance mental and emotional wellbeing.

Kevin is a trainee integrative counsellor and is registered with the BACP. He works within The AwarenessCentre’s NHS counselling service in Lambeth, seeing NHS patients at a GP surgery in Lambeth. Kevin is currently working towards a diploma in therapeutic counselling.
