Luke Bryson provides a safe and secure place for clients to explore a range of different issues they may be facing. His core model is person centred and he is led by the client in what it is they want to focus on. He is committed to a non-judgemental approach and supporting clients to explore issues it may be difficult to discuss with friends or family. As an integrative therapist Luke may draw on other theories and strategies to support clients. For example he may use Transactional Analysis to help clients think about patterns in their relationships or use CBT to help clients make small changes to the way they think and behave to reduce anxiety and depression. Luke has experience of working therapeutically with people in a caring role, supporting them to work through issues including guilt and shame, anger, loss, and isolation and loneliness.

Luke has a back-ground as a family support co-ordinator, working with families facing a broad range of issues including; drug and alcohol problems, domestic abuse, mental health issues, relationship problems within families, financial and housing difficulties, depression and anxiety. In this work Luke works with the whole family to work collaboratively to identify strengths within the family and together to consider small changes that can lead to progress in managing often stressful situations. In this work and his client work believes in supporting people to identify and access inner strength and resources.

Luke is an integrative counsellor and is registered with the BACP. He works on an open-ended basis within The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Tooting. Outside of work Luke is passionate about football.
