Natalia Lockett offers a professional and confidential space where clients can bring their thoughts and feelings about things that worry them. She works with clients helping them to explore the reasons that brought them to therapy, their present difficulties and influences from the past, helping them to see more clear the situation they find themselves in. She helps them to understand and relate to their own feelings and to think about the way they relate to people around them and identify the patterns of their thinking, feeling and behaving that became rigid and prevent them from moving forward.
Natalia believes that every client is unique. It has a great importance to her work, helping clients to focus on what it is like to have an anxiety, depression or some other difficulty that troubles them without being marginalised by particular terms or experiences of others.
Having a background in the legal profession, Natalia understands and appreciates the difficulties that could be experienced by people in a workplace environment, such as stress, pressure of work, relational difficulties, with particular interest in helping clients to move towards creating ‘the work and life balance’. She also specialises in anxiety, depression and having moved away from the country of her origin, has a special interest working with life transitions that often include loss and the affect they have on peoples lives.
Natalia is an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist working in Private Practice in Finchley, North London. She has Master of Science (MSc) degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is registered with BACP and works within their guidelines.
