“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” (C. Jung).

Natalia Werkowska’s approach to counselling is based on collaboration and a genuine appreciation for the client’s individuality and their unique story. She gently and intuitively facilitates the therapeutic process and provides a space in which clients can safely root and grow organically: “The curious paradox is that we cannot change until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.” (C. Rogers).

As a humanistic integrative counsellor, Natalia makes use of different therapeutic modalities, which gives her the freedom to take on a variety of approaches depending on the client’s needs. Sometimes it may involve making sense of past experiences or influences, at other times recognising what happens in the “here and now”, reflecting on the current life situation and relationships, as well as thinking about the direction in life and what it would mean to live well.

Natalia previously worked as a counsellor within the NHS service, supporting clients with a wide range of problems, as well as a charity setting helping those with addiction issues and complex trauma. She also worked in learning & development in business, where she supported groups and individuals with their personal and professional growth. This unique blend of therapeutic and coaching experience allows Natalia to support clients in identifying and working towards meaningful outcomes in therapy. She offers counselling in English and Polish.

Natalia is in the final year of the Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling training at CPPD. She is a student member of the BACP and works at The Awareness Centre Low Cost Counselling Service in Clapham.
