Nieves Ayllón Céspedes
Nieves Ayllon is a counsellor who embraces an integrative approach, with a strong affinity for person-centered therapy. Rooted in empathy and genuine connection, Nieves creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel valued and understood. She draws from a blend of modalities, tailoring her approach to suit the unique needs of each individual. Nieves believes in the inherent strength and resilience of her clients, guiding them to explore their experiences, gain insights, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Through collaborative dialogue and mutual trust, she empowers clients to navigate life’s challenges, cultivate personal growth, and find fulfilment.
Nieves brings a diverse background to her counselling practice, having volunteered extensively with vulnerable teenagers in foster care, taught Spanish to immigrants facing challenging circumstances in Spain, and served as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) in a nursery for six years. With a primary teaching background and a master’s degree in Special Educational Needs, Nieves is uniquely equipped to support individuals facing a range of challenges. She integrates her wealth of experiences and expertise to provide personalized support to her clients.
Nieves is a trainee Integrative Counsellor and is working towards the Level 4 Integrative Counselling Diploma. She is a member of BACP and works within the Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Lambeth.
