Olivia Phillips is an integrative psychotherapist, which means she adapts to her clients to get to the root cause of their pain through different approaches, such as person centered, psychodynamic and CBT. She works in a collaborative way which includes exploring the childhood to understand current patterns and behaviours to achieve awareness. She also believes in the importance of the mind – body connection, especially with respect to trauma.
With a background in creative marketing working for large corporations in New York, London and Dublin, Olivia understands the stress of moving to new cities and working in a demanding career but also the importance of collaboration to achieve goals. As a result, the basis of her work is the relationship she creates with her clients as it is through this relationship that awareness is achieved. Olivia has experience working as a high intensity therapist and now specialises in working with her clients through abuse, PTSD, drug and alcohol addiction and depression. She also works with adolescents who have experienced abuse.
Olivia is an integrative psychotherapist working in private practice in The Awareness Centre in Clapham. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling andPsychotherapy (MBACP) and adheres to their ethical framework. She also holds an MA in marketing and a BA in Journalism.
