There can come a time when everything just seems too much. A moment when we feel overwhelmed, confused, unmotivated and in need of support. Being able to talk to someone in a safe and confidential space, where your thoughts are listened to but not judged, can be really helpful. Counselling offers just that. Rebecca Tucker aims to provide a warm, safe, collaborative space to explore your feelings and thoughts. As an integrative counsellor, Rebecca uses techniques across the therapy models including Psychodynamic, Person-centred and more directive approaches, such as Transactional Analysis.
Rebecca has spent over 20 years as a member of Cabin Crew, giving a listening ear to people from all over the World. During this time, Rebecca lived in Italy for 13 years. This has given her the opportunity to meet unique people, in unique circumstances and share their experiences. She has solid knowledge in dealing with emergency situations and the ways to deal with the emotional wave that can come after. Rebecca looks to collaborate and understand client’s internal sources of anxiety or stress and looks at means to manage and cope with those feelings.
Rebecca is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP),has a Degree in Business from the University of Surrey and is currently studying for a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative).
