Rose Mazillius provides a non-judgemental, supportive environment in which clients feel easily able to bring to the space whatever they would like to address in their lives. Rose’s counselling approach uses person centered as a core modality, clients can expect an empathetic space to talk openly without judgement. Rose holds a strong and personal belief in the ability therapy has to help people in their lives and her approach is considerate to each individual. Her interests in to sexuality are both academic and cultural in nature, which inform an open approach to these elements of life within the supportive environment of the therapy room.
Coming from an arts background, Rose works on a holistic level and has 8 years experience working closely with adults in arts and culture. A trainee counsellor and working towards her diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, Rose has an interest in sexuality, trauma, anxiety and addiction. She understands the ways in which these aspects of our lives can have damaging and self-destructive effects, and that finding happiness and a healthy mind for oneself can enable the individual to make positive changes to these aspects of their lives.
Rose Mazillius is a trainee integrative counsellor and is a student member with the NCP. She is working towards training as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist and will become registered with COSRT. Rose currently works within The Awareness Centre’s Low Cost Counselling service in Clapham and looks forward to meeting you in a welcoming environment and beginning the journey of making positive changes to your life.
