Saira Hyder is an integrative counsellor, who provides an empathic and non-judgmental space so her clients can feel comfortable to be open and share their problems. Saira works to support her clients in finding the answers to their problems themselves; so they can grow and reach their full potential.
Within the therapeutic process, she focuses on building her client’s relational confidence; working with her clients to rediscover how they respond to others, and in the process discover their own increased self-awareness.
Saira draws on her integrative approach, using both the Psychodynamic and Person Centred modalities to work with her clients. This enables her to see how past experiences may be affecting her client’s present world to gain a better understanding and personal growth.
Saira comes from a supportive role within a busy and stressful sales environment. She understands the stresses that can arise from working to tight deadlines, high demands and to client needs. Her own experiences have provided her with invaluable insight as to how it feels to become overwhelmed with work pressures; and how best to manage such stress and anxiety.
Saira is a registered member of BACP and is currently working towards a Diploma In Therapeutic Counselling. She currently practices within the NHS Sutton Counselling Service for The Awareness Centre.
