Sallie Coventry

  • Anxiety
  • Life Transitions
  • Communication Issues
  • Stress

Sallie works as an integrated coach-therapist, combining the most beneficial elements of both practices within a framework called Personal Consultancy.  Her belief is that often therapy or coaching on their own are not enough.  Imagine building a house without a solid foundation?  Or establishing the foundations but not getting around to constructing the house.  This analogy best demonstrates the power of Sallie’s combined approach.

In this space, Sallie works with clients to tackle difficult moments or decisions in life, with a focus on exploring the potential root of the issue as well as an emphasis on achieving sustainable change.  All of this is done in a safe, confidential space and is underpinned by building a strong working relationship with her clients.

With more than 20 years as a leader in various agency settings, Sallie brings a wealth of first hand life and work experience to her coaching-therapy practice.  This includes dealing with high stress situations, balancing work and home, handling difficult relationship dynamics and managing one’s mental health, including anxiety and depression.  This coupled with her own experiences of therapy and coaching as a client to enrich the work she undertakes with her clients today.

Sallie is a qualified integrated coach-therapist, with a Post Graduate Diploma in the subject.  Her therapeutic approach encompasses a passion for Transactional Analysis, as well as Gestalt, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Existential and Compassion Focused Therapy.  She is a member of the BACP and AICTP and works in private practice from her home and from The Awareness Centre in Clapham.
