Sami Almutairi
Sami Almutairi is supportive, empathic, offering a space where clients can open up and feel safe and heard for who they truly are. He is able to draw on his personal experience of Middle Eastern traditions and culture, aims to offer a confidential and safe space in which clients can explore any aspect of life that might be impacting on their emotional, mental health and their wellbeing.
Areas that clients might like to explore with Sami including LGBTQ matters, which he offering a deep insight into the particular challenges member of the LGBTQ community might be facing in an environment in which any issue around gender or sexuality can be explored frankly and fully, without fear of judgement. Sami also has an interest in Arabic and Muslim culture issues.
Sami enjoys working in an integrative way of therapy, which means he is able to draw upon a variety of counselling styles and techniques, choosing whichever approach seems most appropriate for clients circumstances.
Sami studied, then worked in Marketing and Real Estate development before moving to the UK in 2007. He has been involved with counselling and psychotherapy since 2012, training and building his practice while working with people from all backgrounds and cultures.
Sami is fully qualified integrative counsellor, having completed the BTEC LEVEL 5 diploma in 2016, and is a registered member of the BACP, adhering to their ethical framework. He offers therapy at The Awareness Centre in Clapham.
