Sara Bagheri is a warm and caring professional who is consistently showing real empathy towards her clients and their individual circumstances. She provides compassionate care in a fair, non-judgemental, and supportive space, which puts clients at ease from the get-go. Sara believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is paramount for client growth and development. She maintains that therapy should be an authentic experience, where the client needs to be heard, valued, and above all understood.

Sara draws on a range of therapeutic models and tailors her approach to meet your personal needs and preferences, while staying true to her primary existential approach. Working side by side, she will explore her client’s values, assumptions, and ideas aiding them to navigate their choices. Sara offers support for issues including, but not limited to: stress, depression, trauma/PTSD, abuse, family difficulties and adult ADHD.

Sara has routinely worked in culturally diverse settings; this is demonstrated in her understanding of the difficulties faced by individuals following the ramifications of cultural differences. She provides transitional support and guidance for those adapting to a new environment. Sara can offer therapy both in English and Farsi.

Sara’s career has organically evolved from Psychiatric Nursing, to Business Psychology Consultant and as a valued member of the Mental Health Community Training Team for Mind. She is also a certified yoga instructor. This along with a myriad of professional experiences, have equipped her with a unique set of skills, a wealth of knowledge, and clinical expertise to aid others in developing life-long wellness.

Sara is currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy. She is a member of TheBritish Psychological Society and works in The Awareness Centre’s NHS counselling service in Wandsworth.
