Sarah Challacombe is an Integrative Counsellor qualifying with an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling with Hypnotherapy Skills. She is an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
As an integrative Counsellor, Sarah actively listens as her clients talk freely about what is concerning them in their lives. She draws on a variety of models that best suit her clients, with a focus on Gestalt and Humanistic approaches, bringing awareness and conscious understanding of thoughts, feelings and emotions. Sessions are conducted in an empathic, non-judgement safe and confidential space. Sarah works collaboratively and supportively, both long and short term with clients in order they achieve a greater sense of acceptance, health and well-being in their lives.
She has experience working across the public, private and voluntary sector, with a range of demographics. This has given her a great understanding of the pressures encountered in the work place, by UK nationals and international workers making a new life in the UK.
Presenting issues that Sarah has experience with include anger, stress and anxiety, depression, grief and loss, goal achievement, self-defeating behaviours, physical, domestic, psychological abuse and guilt and shame.
Sarah has a private practice in Streatham, SW16, practicing as a Counsellor and a Personal and Professional Life Coach.
