Sarita Tamber is an empathic counsellor who strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for her clients to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. She knows how hard it can be to open up and that the first steps can be the most daunting. With this deep understanding comes an acceptance and warmth towards each other as she enables them to gradually grow in confidence to bring the difficult issues and concerns that are troubling them. Sarita offers her expertise to each client so they can feel safe to explore painful emotions, to tap into their inner resources, to realise their own potential and lead more fulfilling lives.
Sarita works with an integrative approach drawing on person-centred and psychodynamic theories which allow her to work with clients to meet their individual needs. She knows that no two clients are the same and so tailors her approach to the person who is in front of her in that moment. She has a background in communications, working for NHS organisations and as such has vast experience of working with people from different backgrounds and from all walks of life. She understands the stress of working in high pressured environments.
She has specific experience in dealing with issues around fertility, family life and motherhood. She works with clients to manage their stress, anxiety and depression in healthy ways and so empowers them to build more fulfilling relationships.
Sarita is an integrative counsellor and is registered with the BACP. She works at The Awareness Centre’s NHS Counselling Service in Wandsworth. Sarita is currently working towards an advanced diploma in therapeutic counselling.
