Sereyce Kerr provides a judgement-free and peaceful space where clients can open up, be themselves and be truly heard. Counselling helps clients to process difficult and painful times in their lives. She believes that therapy can allow the client to focus, develop and harness their inner potential. She works with her clients to help them regain, realign and tap into their inner resources, to enable them to gain a new sense of inner peace and live a more satisfying life. Sereyce has an integrative approach, which means that she uses different approaches according to her client’s needs. Sereyce may use the person-centred approach to deal with the here and now and the psychodynamic approach to explore her clients’ past and help them to understand themselves on a deeper level. She also uses mindfulness to help tame anxiety and to help her clients learn how to relax. Her approach is tailored to her client’s needs.
With a background in communication and administration, Sereyce has an interest in workplace and general life stress. She understands the pressure that people can cast upon themselves as well as the pressure from society and family, which can lead to self-blame and damaging coping mechanisms. She works to help her clients find a healthier way to manage emotions, stress and anxiety. She also specialises in relationships and has a special interest in helping her clients finding a way of regaining their peace.
Sereyce is an integrative trainee counsellor and is registered with the BACP. She works with The Awareness Centre and sees NHS patients for counselling at a GP practice inLambeth. Sereyce is currently working towards a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
