Siena Dwonczyk

Siena is a trainee Psychosexual and Relationship therapist and is a registered student member of COSRT.

Her interest in counselling began when she started work at a sexual health and wellness brand. Having worked in social media and marketing, empowering people to talk about their issues was a key focus in her role, this she found to be extremely rewarding. She has always been at her happiest when she is actively listening / offering support, simply because this is when she most feels she has a purpose.

With strong empathetic tendencies, patience and positivity, Siena provides a healthy and supportive space for her clients to open up in. She is an integrative counsellor with a particular focus on the person-centred approach. Her approach is tailored to each individual client, however, on the whole, her sessions are client led to allow for them to discuss anything they choose to. She aims to develop the potential of her clients by helping them to draw on their inner resources and build on their strengths. She empowers her clients to make their own decisions, build their confidence, and increase their self-worth; all of which, she believes hold a significant part in finding and building one’s congruence.

In her spare time, Siena enjoys listening to music, attending gigs and festivals, and spending time with friends. With her passion for music, she also enjoys DJing and making music of her own.

Siena works at the The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Clapham.
