  • Communication Issues
  • Self-Esteem
  • Suicidal Thoughts

Steph Morgan-Jones’ integrative approach to working with her clients is to treat them with warmth and respect, free to make their own decisions and shape their own lives. By providing a safe space to share what we are experiencing, she firmly believes that counselling offers the freedom to create better, stronger relationships with others, and to embrace our own personalities as unique individuals; deserving of love and acceptance.

The strength that comes from being really heard by a compassionate and non judgemental ‘ear’ builds self belief, helping her clients to function more effectively and reach their potential. As well as listening and empathising, Steph also promotes solutions based techniques to improve communication skills.

Steph has held a lifelong interest in the dynamic of “healthy” behaviour in personal relationships and when interacting with others. Also, the effect damaged mental health, trust issues and feelings of low self worth can have on an individual and those around them. She has worked with individuals who have been neglected or abused and is keenly aware of the impact negative thoughts can have. Also, how to work with these feelings to turn them into healthy coping mechanisms for the stresses and strains of life.

Steph is a trainee integrative psychotherapist and is registered with the BACP and NCP. She works within The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Clapham and is an Outreach Director for the Samaritans, supporting people who are suicidal or in crisis. Steph is currently working towards her Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy and expects to start her Diploma in Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy in January 2020.
