Steven Curic aims to offer every client a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore your innermost thoughts and feelings in the knowledge that you will not be judged. This lack of judgement is the main condition of a therapeutic space and it makes the therapeutic encounter different from any other relationship you have experienced before in your life as a family member, friend or colleague.
Steven Curic is a fully qualified and BACP Accredited/Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with an educational background and experience of working with individuals and couples. Steven is also a BUPA Recognised and Fee Assured Mental Health and Well-Being Practitioner and registered as a Health Provider with Aviva, AXA, Vitality and Allianz.
Steven has trained Integratively, which means that he practises different counselling models: Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Existential Therapy. Steven has experience in short- as well as long-term work with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity and sexuality, couples and relationships. His work experience includes working with minority, multicultural and LGBTQ+ clients and the provision of Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative therapy.
Steven’s qualifications include: CPPD Counselling School Diploma in Clinical Supervision (Integrative), CPCAB Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Integrative – Level 5), CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative – Level 4)
