Sushil Mitchell is an accredited (UKCP) and experienced psychotherapist with a Masters and Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy and Counselling. As an integrative therapist, she is equipped with knowledge and experienced in practising various therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic (early childhood, attachment and relationships), humanistic (self-awareness), existential (search for meaning and purpose) and transpersonal (higher self, spirituality, transcendence of ego).

In her time as a therapist, Sushil has applied her knowledge to work with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, anger, cultural issues, childhood issues, abuse, addiction, relationship and family issues, fertility issues, post-natal depression, life crisis, bereavement, work related issues, loneliness, chronic illness and sexual identity.

Prioritising the client/therapist relationship, Sushil encourages clients to trust in the process of therapy. Offering a safe and non-judgemental environment, Sushil facilitates the exploration of conflicts enabling clients to break-free of destructive patterns of behaviour. Helping clients to become conscious of limiting beliefs and integrating the parts of self which have been denied can lead to healing, growth and a sense of wholeness.

Focusing on honesty and truth, Sushil helps clients to achieve a deeper understanding of themselves leading to a better sense of self and clearer direction in life. Her intuitive and empathic qualities help clients to feel contained and understood. Insight achieved through the joint process builds self-awareness leading to a renewed sense of hope and transformation. With a background in acting, marketing & PR, Sushil can relate to issues within the creative and corporate professions such as realising self-worth and managing stress.
