Victoria Gonticas
Victoria Gonticas is an integrative counsellor working with various therapeutic modalities to offer an individualised approach unique to your needs to help you explore and overcome difficulties. Victoria offers short and long-term therapy either in-person for adults and couples at The Awareness Centre in Tooting as well as online and telephone sessions. She offers therapy sessions in Greek, French and Spanish.
With a 23-year career in finance and the corporate world, Victoria is well versed in the pressures of high-level stress, having worked in London, New York, Paris, and Madrid. After her own journey of loss and bereavement, she came to retrain as a counsellor from 2018. During the Coronavirus pandemic, Victoria started supporting clients for the charities Cruse Bereavement Care and The Listening Place. She has also helped clients in a clinical setting within the National Health Service (NHS).
Victoria holds a Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling, a Level 3 CPCAB Certificate in Counselling. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Couples Counselling. Victoria provides a safe, confidential space for you to gain insight and self-awareness where, over time, you can learn how to manage stressful experiences or difficult emotions to lead a healthier and happier life. Victoria is a member of the BACP.
Victoria supports clients through issues such as loss, relationship conflicts, transitional stress, and other challenges. She draws upon a range of therapeutic modalities. When given the proper support and care individuals can thrive despite difficult experiences with their innate ability to heal and grow.
