Zahra Al-mahroos provides a safe and supportive space where her clients can reflect on and work through any issues they bring. She uses an integrative approach allowing her to tailor therapy according to clients’ needs. In recognising that every client is different, Zahra adapts to varied ways of thinking in order to assist with change and/or greater understanding.

Zahra has worked with distressed and suicidal clients at the Samaritans, and as a Bereavement Counsellor for a charity in Brent. Working in these charities has given Zahra the skills to assist clients in crisis, and enable their subsequent development. Zahra’s experience has enhanced her commitment to creating a warm environment that allows clients to feel held. She believes that this is important in helping clients to process and organise heightened thoughts and emotions, and to empower their movement towards a healthier place.

Zahra’s interests include working with individuals with anxiety and depression, and she has a particular interest in cultural identity. She provides counselling inArabic and English.
