Zara Taylor
Zara offers an open and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their unique thoughts, feelings and experiences.Zara’s aim is to help her clients leave feeling more resilient, self-aware, self-compassionate and connected – connected to others and themselves.
As a relational psychotherapist, Zara is interested in her client’s relationships with others (past & present), their relationship with themselves, and how we relate together in therapy. Using an integrative approach, she brings together a range of contemporary psychotherapy ideas and approaches to best support you.
Experienced in both private practice and various clinical settings, Zara works with people who are experiencing a range of relational difficulties, emotional and mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, identity, past trauma, life changes and relationships.
Committed to an anti-oppressive and intersectional practice, Zara aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for people of any gender, race, sexuality, identity and background. A place where difference can be openly spoken about and respectfully explored together.
Zara is a UKCP trainee psychotherapist in the final stage of of her MSc and Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. She works at the The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Clapham.
