
Durim Dogani - Diploma Tutor
Durim Dogani is a theory tutor for the Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Durim is a BACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Counselling Tutor with extensive experience teaching counselling and psychotherapy qualifications from Levels 2–6. He also works as a Visiting Lecturer in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s University London. Alongside his teaching, he maintains an active clinical practice providing psychotherapy, counselling, and supervision to individuals, couples, and trainee counsellors.
Durim is passionate about supporting trainee counsellors in developing their counselling skills, professional identity, and reflective practice. His teaching style combines theory with experiential learning, creating a supportive environment where students can develop confidence, self-awareness, ethical understanding, and a strong therapeutic presence.
Trained integratively, Durim draws on humanistic, psychodynamic, relational, CBT, and transpersonal approaches in his work. He is currently completing an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy, bringing specialist knowledge of relationship dynamics, attachment, trauma, and psychosexual wellbeing to both his teaching and clinical practice.
Alongside his private practice, Durim has worked across university counselling services, NHS-funded therapy services, and charitable organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers. He has extensive experience working with trauma, risk, safeguarding, cultural diversity, and complex emotional difficulties, and is committed to promoting inclusive, ethical, and culturally responsive practice.
As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, Durim supports counsellors in ethical decision-making, case formulation, risk management, and professional development. His teaching and supervisory work emphasise reflective practice, collaboration, and the development of competent, ethical, and compassionate practitioners.
