Our NHS therapists can help you work through a number of issues, such as; anxiety, bereavement, depression, stress, and work related issues. The Awareness Centre is contracted by the South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) to provide counselling to patients registered at GP surgeries in Wandsworth. We are currently offering all counselling sessions face to face, online and by telephone.

Gail is a qualified integrative counsellor, and a member of BACP. She has held varying roles within The Awareness Centre throughout her original training, from placement therapist through to administrator and Clinical Team Leader, enabling her to draw upon a rounded experience to now manage the agency’s NHS Services across all areas.

How can I get referred for the Wandsworth counselling service?
To be referred to counselling in Wandsworth with the NHS, please make an appointment to see your GP or call Wandsworth Talking Therapies on 020 3513 6264. There is no fee for this service, and you will be offered up to 12 sessions.
How long will my Wandsworth counselling sessions take?
We can provide weekly 50-minute confidential counselling sessions during GP opening hours Monday to Friday. Some Saturday morning appointments are also available.
