Anthony Constantine is a qualified integrative counsellor with a relational focus. He is a registered member of the BACP and currently works at the Awareness Centre in Tooting .

Whatever you are facing, Anthony offers a welcoming , understanding and non judgmental space where you can explore what’s going on for you. He believes being able to tell your story and having it listened to , can be healing. My approach is about helping you find your voice and to understand what might be holding you back from feeling a fuller sense of self. Through exploring your thoughts and feelings you can gain more self understanding and clarity, empowering you to make better choices for your well being.

He draws upon different theoretical approaches : the psychodynamic – takes us to how the past impacts the present. The humanistic- carries the belief you have the resources to be the best you can. The transpersonal – exploring the meaning, culture and what it means to be human. He believes the therapeutic relationship is at the core of the counselling . We can use this relationship to explore new ways of affirming yourself and healthier patterns of relating. This includes how past experience and early relationships affect your emotional well-being and your capacity to be yourself in the world.

Anthony brings a wide experience of having worked both as a classical performer and within community mental health services and addiction recovery. Currently he works as a counsellor for a specialist bereavement service , a LGBTQ+ service and had 6 years experience working for a personality disorder service. He is committed to supporting individuals in finding their authentic self. Creativity is an important aspect of his work in helping a client access their inner landscape.
